Current Position Opening:

Account Manager - Outside Sales

Territory: South Eastern Region of the U.S.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new customers and managing existing accounts, qualifying potential prospects and closing sales to meet pre-defined revenue goals.

This is a Business to Business sales environment. You will be working for a company that has built a reputation on excellent customer service, product and pricing. The Outside Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Light travel is required. Relocation is possible as you move up through the company.

Qualifications:

Education and Training:

B.A. or B.S. degree in business or equivalent experience is preferred.

Job History and Technical Skills:

2-4 year's prior sales or related work experience is preferred.

Knowledge of cabling industry in order to understand customer's business is highly preferred.

Proficiency in business applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word is a plus.

Strong ability to sell over the phone, understand customer requirements, negotiate and influence buying decisions and close sales is required.

Required Interpersonal Skills:

Demonstrate professional selling skills over the phone and business to business with the ability to actively listen, understand and communicate customer requirements.

Hands-on approach to overcoming obstacles, problem solving and clearly communicating with customers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
